The structure and tightness of the WeichaiPower motor has been optimized to offer great performance and reliability. The new design of its air filter has a more compact structure, better filtration efficiency, cleaner air admission and it has made it easier to replace the filter. Similarly, the air admission, the exhaustion systems and the feeder tube have been optimized for a better flow and combustion which aids to achieve a lower fuel consumption and reduces the operational cost.

The cooling tubes and the suspension supporters have been optimized as well for reducing vibration and facilitating its installation. The new design of the oil sump has a pot shape to increase the heat radiation area of the oil which reduces vibration.
